The Council on Blue Zone Indigenous Medicines

Blue Zones are world regions where people live the longest, healthiest, & happiest lives.

The vitality, longevity, and serene outlook of people in Blue Zones can be credited in large part to the ancient indigenous medicines & lifestyle practices that are applied as a part of everyday life in these regions.

Our Mission

The Council of Blue Zone Indigenous Medicines facilitates the collaboration and sharing of knowledge among scientific, spiritual, cultural, and medical experts on Blue Zone populations alongside Blue Zone community leaders to collect and share ancient tribal medicine recipes and practices for the purpose of increasing longevity, vitality & happiness for all.

Our Membership

Currently, the Council has members from 47 countries and 72 indigenous tribes, and 11 major universities. We selectively welcome new members who would like to contribute, learn and collaborate in person or remotely. If this is you, please contact us.

Our Leadership

Dr. Linda Ellison, Harvard Doctorate, is the Chair of The Council on Blue Zones Indigenous Medicines. Dr. Ellison is the Founder and Chief Science Officer of kaü Health, which develops anti-aging therapies, and kaü Medical, which develops cancer therapies. She made what has been called “the biggest breakthrough in anti-aging of our lifetimes” by applying her cutting-edge DNA science to her own familial Nordic Tribal medicine recipe, creating a non-invasive, daily-use cellular therapy akin to stem cell therapy. Before founding her companies, Dr. Ellison was a Managing Director at the United Nations. She worked in maternal malaria care with rural and remote indigenous populations and traveled the globe developing deep relationships with other tribal medicine practitioners.
